John Lennon

I wish, that I could stop the killing,
the fighting, the hunger, the torture.
But I can't.
I can only try to do my part of positive things
and hope that there are a lot of people all around,
that think the same way I do.
Then maybe somehow we can create a better world,
a world where there is freedom
of mind and body for everyone
a world where we hear the laughter
and see the happiness and feel the hope.
Maybe peace begins within ourselves
with the little things.
Respect for men, women, animals, plants and trees.
Just giving some love and kindness away
and doing one unselfish thing every day.
Trying to think a little happy thought,
even when we are sad.
Maybe if we realize that we need the other to survive
it will be possible
to create a little space on this beautiful planet
for each and everybody.
And then we will have a Future again.

Lord,
make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred,
let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

Franciscus of  Assisi

We need to feel more
to understand others.
We need to love more
to be loved back.
We need to cry more
to cleanse ourselves.
We need to laugh more
to enjoy ourselves.
We need to see more
other than our own little fantasies.
We need to hear more
and listen to the needs of others.
We need to give more
and take less.
We need to share more
and own less.
We need to look more
and realize that we are not so different
from one another.
We need to create a world where
all can peacefully live the life they choose.

Because there are places to go
Because there are poems to write
and we are all in this life
together

I wish you peace

Let us all work
to build a World of Peace

Let Peace surround us

My candle for World Peace will be forever burning
